How long is the GoCodes free trial?
The GoCodes’ free trial lasts 15 days. During this period you have full access to every feature in the platform including the web dashboard, mobile app, reporting, maintenance scheduling, and inventory tracking.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No credit card is required to start, and there is no automatic billing when the trial ends. You only provide payment information if you decide to continue with a paid subscription.
Can I extend my trial if I need more time?
Yes, if you need additional time to evaluate GoCodes or get your team onboarded, contact our support team before your trial expires. We regularly extend trials for companies that are actively testing the platform but need more time to involve stakeholders or complete their evaluation process.
What features are included in the free trial?
The free trial includes full access to GoCodes: QR code scanning and asset tracking, check in and check out with accountability records, location and site management, user permissions and role assignment, maintenance scheduling and service history, inventory tracking for consumables, depreciation reporting, and the mobile app for iOS and Android.
You can print trial QR labels to test with your actual equipment. The only items not included during the trial are physical branded labels and GPS hardware, which ship with paid plans.
How long does it take to set up GoCodes?
Most teams are able to scan and track assets within the first day. Create your account in about two minutes. Add your first assets with trial QR labels in 10 to 15 minutes depending on how many custom fields you want to configure. Full deployment with custom branded labels typically takes one to two weeks after you upgrade, including label design approval, production, and shipping.
Can you help migrate data from spreadsheets?
Yes, GoCodes offers a migration service where we upload your existing asset data into the system for you. If you have tools and equipment listed in spreadsheets, send us the file and we will map your data to GoCodes’ fields and import everything into your account.
This service is available as an add on with paid plans and saves significant time compared to manual entry. During your trial, you can test the system with a subset of assets and then migrate your full inventory when you upgrade.
What if we currently use another tracking system?
GoCodes can import data from most asset tracking systems and spreadsheet formats. During your consultation or onboarding call, let us know what system you’re migrating from and we’ll advise on the best approach. Many customers run GoCodes alongside their existing system during the trial to compare workflows before fully transitioning.
